Privacy Policy for PaperPal PYQ

Intellara Labs ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Intellara Labs when you use the PaperPal PYQ — NTA Previous Year Papers application (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

PaperPal PYQ works without an account. Downloaded papers, bookmarks and reading preferences stay on your device. Network requests and the advertising SDK process the data described below.

• Usage Data: Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) collects app and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps and video views, and diagnostic information about app and SDK performance.
• Locally Stored Data: Bookmarks, downloaded papers, and reading preferences (Day/Night/Sepia mode, dark mode) are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• Device Identifiers: AdMob collects device identifiers, including the advertising ID and app set ID. It also collects your IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location. We do not request precise device location.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
• Analyze how the Service is used to enhance user experience and content organization.
• Diagnose technical issues and prevent crashes.
• Display advertising, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

The Google Mobile Ads SDK sends the advertising data described above to Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This includes device-level data, not only aggregated statistics. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. Google Play processes in-app payments; we do not receive your card details. Paper downloads send a network request, including your IP address, to the source website.

4. Third-Party Content

PaperPal PYQ provides access to previous year question papers and may integrate with NTA mock tests. When you access third-party content (such as official NTA websites), the privacy practices of those third parties apply, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy policies.

5. Security of Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect any information collected from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

PaperPal PYQ is intended for students preparing for competitive exams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Choices

You can clear locally stored data (bookmarks, downloads, preferences) at any time through your device's app settings or by uninstalling the app. You can change ad personalization preferences in the app and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Choosing non-personalized ads does not stop all SDK data collection. Ad-related records are retained under Google’s policies; we do not control their retention period or provide an in-app deletion facility for those records.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
